Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Canada Officially Welcomes Guests

In the heart of Canada, the first ever Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has opened its doors, featuring a state-of-the-art sound system designed by 1 SOUND, a leading professional audio solutions company [1].

The audio system, engineered to meet Hard Rock's global standards, is designed to deliver outstanding audio quality for both indoor and outdoor environments. It offers clear sound and an immersive stereo experience, seamlessly adapting to the acoustic challenges of the varied spaces within the venue [1].

Key features of the audio system include premium speaker drivers and enclosures that maintain clarity and punch across wide frequency ranges. Advanced technology creates a convincing stereo field without the need for multiple speaker arrays visible to guests. Robust and weather-resistant speaker designs ensure durability and quality performance outdoors, without compromising indoor sound integrity [1].

Inside the building, the Council Oak Stage, designed for small bands, dueling pianos, and other live acts, is equipped with SUB310 subwoofers paired with Level L38 loudspeakers. These speakers are matched precisely to the walls for a clean look, standing less than eight inches off the wall and providing the SPL and punch needed for live music [1].

Outside, the building's exterior is adorned with 1 SOUND's Cannon C6 marine speakers, color-matched to the exterior. A total of twenty-five Cannon C6 speakers are installed to create a high-energy introduction [1]. The Cannon C6 speakers feature custom-painted C-Clamps for mounting and outdoor-rated hardware made of SS316 marine-grade materials.

The design and install teams prioritized performance and versatility at every stage of the project. To provide flexibility and preserve the upscale restaurant feel on quieter nights, discreet Level L38 loudspeakers were installed [1]. Jason Wakeford, project manager at Branch AV, praised the performance of the L38 loudspeakers, stating they blend seamlessly into the space and deliver great sound with room for higher SPL with bands [1].
