Case of Misleading Play Against a Wealthy Opponent Leading to Disaster at the Poker Table

In a thrilling turn of events during the latest episode of No Gamble, No Future Season 7, Stanley Tang took down a pot valued at over $411,000 in a high-stakes showdown against Andrew Pacheco. This pot, one of the biggest in the show's history, occurred in Episode 5 of Season 7.

The hand began with Tang raising to $2,000 with K2 in a straddled hand, to which Andrew Robl three-bet to $6,000 with 1010. The original raiser also called the three-bet, and the action checked to Robl who bet $10,000. Tang called, and the turn card was dealt, revealing 673.

With top pair and an open-ended straight draw, Pacheco check-raised to $80,000. Tang, despite having a missed flush draw, called the bet. Pacheco, with minimal showdown value, moved all in with just over the $101,000 Tang had behind. Tang called, and the river card was dealt, 5.

Tang hit his flush on the river, taking down the pot valued at $411,400. Pacheco, who had attempted a bluff, ultimately regretted the bet.

This pot is noted as one of the biggest in the history of No Gamble, No Future. In comparison, the $213,400 pot lost by Andrew Robl in a hand with Justin Gavri was a significant portion of the chips he won against Stanley Tang earlier in the game. Gavri, holding pocket aces, snap-called a move-in by Robl on the flop, taking down the pot.

Episode 5 of Season 7 will air at 5 p.m. PT next Tuesday on PokerGO. The latest episode features a $200/$400 no-limit hold'em cash game.

In another notable hand from Season 7, Tang won a $366,200 pot against Garrett Adelstein. However, the $411,300 pot against Pacheco remains the largest reported pot won by Tang in Season 7.
